ID Sports is a socially and environmentally conscious enterprise that is concerned not only with physical beauty but also with mental well being. The goals of our company are to be profitable and build a product line through name recognition. It is the immediate goal to organize an International short haul cycling race in Mumbai, while the long-term goal is to go public with several health and fitness center facilities and an active product line.

ID Sports has been a dream for the founders; it was essential to nurture mind, body, and spirit. This combination is hard to come by in Mumbai, and so the two founders decided to create the ID Sports
Dr Akil Khan, the group Chairman & Managing Director of Uber Inc Pvt. Ltd and Id Health & fitness pvt.ltd., is a Management graduate and a trained Hematologist and has worked most of the reputed hospitals in Mumbai and abroad.
His work has been result oriented and process-driven with successful execution of various business models with a experience of little under 10 years.
He has successfully launched the most recent and successful Mumbai Cyclothon - Tour de Mumbai on 21st feb 2010.The event was graced by the legends of the society Salman Khan, Bollywood star, Eddy Merckx, a five time Tour De France winner and a host of current cycling legends and 7000+ people from all facts of life. He set up Uber Imaging – Radiology division, with India’s first low cost CT / MRI centers in both public-private sector. These centers have been home for the poor for reasonable diagnosis of the underprivileged. The set up also includes High end CT & MRI centres both as private and public private partnership.
David McQuaid, Race Director & International Race Liasion
Hailing from Ireland, David McQuaid brings to the equation invaluable competition and organisational experience. A key person is the success
of India's first Internationally ranked cycling event, the Mumbai Cyclothon 2010, David comes from one of Ireland's most famous cycling
families.
An International rider himself until 2001, David's family hold the Irish Olympic family record, from having eight family members represent Ireland on the Olympic stage since 1948.
David's own International career started with a Sports Scholarship at Dublin's University College Dublin, where he studied Business & Law.
From there it was events worldwide, including the World Championships (San Sebastian '97, Verona '99) and European Championships (Sweden '98, Lisbon '99 & Warsaw 2000).
Calling an end to competitive cycling in 2002, he had accumulated various victories domestically and internationally as a rouleur. National Espoir Champion in 1999 was a domestic highlight.
Since exiting the competitive ranks, he has gained immense experience from an organisational role. Ten years at the HC ranked Tour de Langkawi, four years at the famous Tour de France and 3 years as Finish Director at the UCI 2.1 Tour of Ireland.
Bringing this experience to India in 2010, he hopes to roll it forward into future events and ensure that the world's best cyclists come to India to compete on excellent courses in front of the world's best media.
